PSYCHOLOGICAL SUPPORT SA MGA NAI-STRESS SA COVID-19

PSYCHOLOGICAL SUPPORT

“Facing the COVID-19 pandemic gives us stress and mental health concerns, so much fear and worry about your own health and the health of family, including your financial situation, your job, or the loss of support services you rely on causes strong emotions, especially among adults. Public safety measures such as social distancing can also make some people feel isolated which can further cause anxiety although these actions are necessary to prevent the spread of the virus,” ani Janairo.

“Nakikita natin ito sa mga social platform like Facebook, wherein people are posting and expressing about their worries and fears sa COVID-19. Me mga humihingi ng tulong on how to manage themselves during this pandemic,” aniya pa.

“What will happen today and the days to come gives us problems in general. Lahat tayo affected, no one is spared. Iniisip mo pa lang na sa paglabas mo ng bahay at pagbili ng gamot o pagkain eh baka magka-COVID ka na can affect your behavior. And sometimes this panic may even trigger some underlying unresolved or suppressed trauma and we should be careful and delicate on how to handle these situations,” paliwanag pa ni Janairo.

ANA ROSARIO HERNANDEZ
