ISINUSULONG ng mga espesyalistang doktor sa puso na magkaroon ang publiko ng oras na mag-ehersisyo kahit sa loob ng isang minuto lamang para mapanatiling malusog ngayong umiiral pa rin ang pandemya.

Sa idinaos na media briefing (virtual forum) ng Philippine Heart Associatiin (PHA) na tinawag na PHA’s Usapang Puso” ipinakilala ni dating PHA president Dr. Nanette Rey, ang FitHeart Minute (FhM) para hikayatin ang mamamayan na mag ehersisyo ng 1-minute kada oras.

“To dedicate one minute of your time every walking hour to pocket workouts sounds sensible,” saad ni Dr. Rey.

“An exercise could be done “subtly,” and “too pushy, it is a practical alternative for people who are not capable of walking 10,000 steps a day as what the Sneakers Friday requires,” pahayag png nasabing doktor.

Aniya, malaking tulong ang isang minutong exercise kada isa o dalawang oras upang mapanatiling malusog ang ating mga puso.

“The FitHeart Minute campaign is aimed to jumpstart people to move or exercise. Even by standing up and sitting down 10 times is an exercise without you realizing or intending that you are exercising,” dagdag pa nito.

Hindi na aniya kailangang magpalit pa ng damit o sapatos at hindi rin kinakailangan ang maluwag na lugar para isagawa ito.

Sinabi naman ni Dr. Raul Lapitan, dati ring presidente ng PHA, maaaring maiwasan at maprotektahan ang kalusugan ng mamamayan kung uugaliin ang pag eehersisyo.

“Exercise can prevent and protect us from the infection on top of the health requirements,” saad ni Dr.Lapitan.

Hinikayat  nito ang publiko na ugaliin ang paglalakad o gumawa ng 10,000 steps kada araw para manatiling malusog ang pangangatawan. BENEDICT ABAYGAR, JR.
