“I think we will be the youngest team to compete ngayon kasi I don’t think makakalaro yung mga UAAP players namin kasi magsasabay ‘yung UAAP season. All I can say is sana makapag-compete kami sa lahat ng teams. ‘Yan lang naman muna ang (goal namin.)”

Ang iba pang koponan na sasabak sa ika-6 na season ng liga ay ang Cignal HD, AMC Volleyball, City of Imus, City of Sta. Rosa, D’Navigators Iloilo, PGJC-Navy, Philippine Air Force, Philippine Army Troopers, Vanguard Volleyball Team, at ang VNS Volleyball Club.

Ang mga laro sa linggo ay sa pagitan ng City of Imus at ng City of Sta. Rosa, at ng Philippine Army at PGJC-Navy.

Dumalo rin sina Sports Vision president Ricky Palou, tournament director Mozzy Ravena, Spikers’ Turf president Alyssa Valdez, at Cignal TV Channel Manager for Sports Von Reinhart Gaa sa session na itinataguyod ng San Miguel Corporation (SMC), MILO, Philippine Sports Commission, Philippine Olympic Committee, at ng Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR).

Ang iba pang panauhin sa Forum ay sina head coaches Dexter Clamor (Cignal), Sammy Acaylar (City of Imus), Cecille Cruzada (PGJC-Navy) Jhim Merza (Philippine Air Force), Edjet Mabbayad (Vanguard Volleyball Team), at Ralph Ocampo (VNS Volleyball Club), gayundin sina assistant coach Carlos Cantor (City of Sta. Rosa), team coordinator Francis Babon (D’Navigators), at players Jayvee Sumagaysay (AMC Volleyball) at Ken Baloaloa (Philippine Army).

“We’re happy with the results. We hope it gets bigger and we’re hoping to bring Spikers’ Turf to greater heights,” wika ni Palou. “We want to bring men’s volleyball to greater heights. That’s our goal.”

“It’s very apt kasi lahat ng nakikita ninyo rito very passionate people, the players, and even the people behind it,” said Ravena, the former national team player turned league official.

“We’re all here because of our love for the sport,” sabi ni Valdez. “If you’re passionate about what you’re doing, you have to really give your time. We’re all here to support the sport.”
