INIULAT ng Department of Health (DOH) na pumalo na sa mahigit 102,000 ang aktibong kaso ng COVID-19 sa bansa.
Ito ay matapos na makapagtala pa ang Department of Health (DOH) ng 14,749 bagong kaso ng sakit nitong Linggo, Agosto 15, 2021.
Batay sa case bulletin no. 519 ng DOH, nabatid na dahil sa mga naturang bagong kaso ng COVID-19, umaabot na ngayon sa 1,741,616 ang total confirmed cases ng COVID-19 sa bansa.
Sa naturang total cases naman, 5.9% pa o 102,748 ang aktibong kaso o nagpapagaling pa mula sa karamdaman.
Sa active cases, ang 95.9% na mild cases, 1.3% na severe cases, 1.1% na asymptomatic, 0.93% na moderate cases, at 0.8% na critical cases.
Mayroon namang naitala na 10,720 bagong gumaling sa karamdaman.
Dahil dito, umakyat na sa 1,608,528 ang total COVID-19 recoveries sa bansa o 92.4% ng total cases.
Samantala, nasa 270 pang pasyente ang naitalang sinawimpalad na bawian ng buhay dahil sa kumplikasyon ng sakit.
Sa ngayon, nasa 30,340 na ang COVID-19 death toll sa bansa o 1.74% ng total cases.
Ayon sa DOH, may 364 duplicates rin naman silang inalis mula sa total case count, kasama dito ang 360 na recoveries.
Mayroong limang kaso na unang tinukoy bilang recoveries ngunit nang i-validate ay aktibong kaso pa pala habang may 141 kaso rin ang unang tinukoy na gumaling na mula sa karamdaman ngunit malaunan ay natuklasang namatay na pala, sa isinagawang pinal na balidasyon.
“Ayon sa pinakahuling ulat, lahat ng mga laboratoryo ay operational noong August 13, 2021 habang mayroong 3 laboratoryo na hindi nakapagsumite ng datos sa COVID-19 Document Repository System (CDRS). Base sa datos sa nakaraang 14 na araw, ang kontribusyon ng 3 labs na ito ay humigit kumulang 0.9% sa lahat ng samples na naitest at 1.1% sa lahat ng positibong mga indibidwal,” anang DOH.
“Sa patuloy na pagtaas ng mga kaso, pinaaalalahanan po natin ang lahat na patuloy na sumunod sa minimum public health standards. Kapag naman nakaranas ng mga sintomas ay agad na mag-isolate at kontakin ang inyong Barangay Health Emergency Response Teams,” anito pa. Ana Rosario Hernandez
