Ayon sa ulat ng Bureau’s Team Against Smugglers (BATAS) ng BOC laban sa may-ari ng Bianmintina storage facility sa Pasay City ay ilegal nagpaparating ito ng assorted cigarettes na aabot sa P1,570,610.62 milyon ang halaga.
Lumabag ito sa Customs Modernization and Tariff Act, at Customs Memorandum Order no. 20-2006 Sections 41 and 42 of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Act (TRAIN); and Section 10 of National Tobacco Administration (NTA) 079-2005.
Gayundin, ang Hightower Inc. na kinasuhan ng BATAS dahil sa unlawful importation ng ipinagbabawal na Scad at bonito mackerel Agricultural fish products na tinatayang aabot sa P2,606,775.09 milyon.
Sa ilalim ng Special Order no. 705 Fisheries Code of the Philippines series of 2020, importation of round scad , mackerel at moonfish for processing / or for international buyer ay pansamantalang suspendido ito.
