PINAGHAHANAP pa rin ang dalawang Chinese owners ng medical supply company na nahaharap sa kasong estafa matapos ang isang taon.

Naghain ang Philippine Veterans Bank noong 2019 ng kasong estafa kina Jimmy M. Hao at Jamie Sheila S. Hao, President Vice President ng MEIHAO Corporation sa Biñan, Laguna na nagsusupply ng medical equipment.

Ito umano ay lumalabag sa Article 315 par. 1 (b) of the Revised Penal Code kaugnay sa Presidential Decree No. 115 o Trust Receipts Law.

Sa reklamo na isinampa sa Office of the City Prosecutor ng Makati, nabanggit na ang korporasyon ay nag-aplay at binigyan ng mga pasilidad ng credit ng bangko na may credit limit facility na P110 milyon.

Nabanggit sa reklamo na sa iba’t ibang okasyon, ginamit ng akusado ang pasilidad at nagpatupad ng mga resibo ng pagtitiwala na pabor sa bangko.

Nakasaad dito na simula Marso 22, 2019, bigo na ang Meihao na gawin obligasyon na i-turn-over ang mga kinita nito sa bangko.

Dahil dito, inatasan ang bangko na tawagan ang mga Meihao at akusado na bayaran ang halagang P122.9 milyon kasama ang mga interes.

Ngunit bigo ang bangko na makuha ito sa dalawang Chinese na negosyante na patuloy na pinaghahanap ng mga awtoridad.
