NASA 271 pang Pinoy na pawang mga distressed at apektado ng COVID-19 ang nakauwi na ng Pilipinas mula sa Vietnam.

Sinabi ng Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) na nitong Linggo (Agosto 15) ay dumating ng bansa ang nasa 271 Pinoy sakay ng chartered Cebu Pacific flight, na ang 163 ay mula sa Ho Chi Minh City, samantalang ang 108 OFWs ay mula Hanoi.

Nabatid na tinatayang nasa 300 Pilipino roon ang apektado ng pan­demya.

“Most of the repatriates were in distress due to economic difficulties brought by COVID-19 pandemic, while some of them were stranded in Vietnam due to flight cancellations,” ayon sa Embahada ng Pilipinas sa Vietnam.

Makakatanggap ng ayudang halagang $200  ang bawat isa sa kanila  at bibigyan din sila ng libreng RT-PCR tests. LIZA SORIANO
