300 COACHES SA SPORT-SPECIFIC LECTURES NG PSC

NASA 300 participants ang tumanggap ng online sports specific lectures sa athletics, badminton, at volleyball sa National Sports Coaching Certification Course (NSCCC)  ng Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) nitong Huwebes.

Isang proyekto sa ilalim ng Sports Education and Training Program ng Philippine Sports Institute (PSI), layon ng NSCCC na makapagbigay ng oportunidad para sa patuloy na pagkatuto at skill building para sa mga coach bilang bahagi ng unified national grassroots sports program sa bansa.

“We wanted to elevate the learning experience of these participants, who previously passed the Level 1 Sports Science Lectures conducted from July 2020 to June last month,” wika ni PSI Grassroots Program Head Abby Rivera.

Ang two-day lectures para sa athletics, badminton, at volleyball ay magkakasabay na binuksan nina PSC Commissioners Ramon Fernandez, Celia Kiram, at Charles Maxey, ayon sa pagkakasunod-sunod, via Google Meet.

Ginamit din ng PSC-PSI ang expertise nina coach Roselyn Jamero at coach Joseph Sy (athletics), coach Bianca Carlos at coach Rjay Ormilla (badminton), at coach Jerry Yee (volleyball), upang magbigay ng high-quality lectures sa pamamagitan ng synchronous at asynchronous learning methods.

“Passers to be granted Level 1 accreditation on these sports specific lectures will be moving on to Level 2,” dagdag ni Rivera.

Noong nakaraang Pebrero ay may kabuuang 180 participants mula sa iba’t ibang lungsod at bayan sa  Luzon ang tumanggap din ng Level 1 Sports Science online lectures sa Sports Philosophy, Sports Pedagogy, Sports Psychology, Sports Physiology, Talent Identification, at Sports Ethics.
