Highlighting the importance of ethical conduct, Atty. Serrano drew parallels from Bible stories. “An insurance agent can defeat any temptation of fraud or trial in the conduct of his profession by holding fast to the company policy. There is no need for any superpower. He or she just has to hold fast, follow the company guidelines,” Atty. Serrano asserted.

Having been a steward of at least 6 divisions of the Insurance Commission, Atty. Serrano commended Fortune Life’s strong core values and impeccable track record as supported by the company’s compliance to policies and regulations on licensing; money laundering; good corporate governance; claims adjudication; and public assistance and mediation.
