NUEVA VIZCAYA-KUMPIRMADONG apat ang patay matapos na malibing ng buhay sa gumuhong lupa sa isang construction site nitong Biyernes ng umaga sa Barangay Tiblac sa bayan ng Ambaguio sa nasabing lalawigan.

Ranse Evasco, Provincial Police director ng Nueva Vizcaya Police Provincial Office (NV-PPO) kinilala ang mga biktima na sina Rafael Villar, 42-anyos; John Retamola, 25-anyos, kapwa residente ng Barangay Ibung, Villaverde, Nueva Vizcaya; Christopher Padua, 38-anyos, residente ng Barangay Sta. Rosa, Bayombong at Carlos Tome, residente ng Purok 7, Barangay Bonfal East Solano, Nueva Vizcaya.

Masuwerte naman na nakaligtas ang apat pa nilang kasamahan na sina ni Lyndon Ocay, 45-anyos, residente ng Santiago City at operator ng backhoe kung saan ay mabilis silang nakatakbo kasama sina Boyet at Cris.

Sa imbestigasyon ng PNP Nueva Vizcaya habang naghuhukay umano ang mga biktima para sa gagawing slope protection wall ng kalsada nang makarinig umano sila ng malakas na dagundong ng lupa mula sa itaas ng ginagawang project at natabunan ang apat na mga biktima na nasa loob ng hinukay na pundasyon ng nasabing erosion wall sa bahagi ng Sitio Naduntug ng naturang lugar.

Dahil dito, mabilis namang tumugon ang mga miyembro Ambaguio PNP, BFP, MDRRMO at Tam-an rescue team na nagsagawa ng agarang paghuhukay.

Tanghaling tapat nang matagpuan ang apat na biktima at nang mahukay ay nakitang napugutan ng ulo dahil sa aksidenteng tamaan ng backhoe.

Samantala, ang nasabing proyekto ay pag-aari umano ng negosyanteng si John Vic Viernes, 39, residente ng Barangay Don Mariano Perez sa bayan na ito. IRENE GONZALES
