SA kabila ng patuloy na pagsusumite ng courtesy resignation upang luminis ang Philippine National Police (PNP) laban sa droga, mayroon namang 43,823 uniformed personnel sa 17 Police Regional Offices sa bansa ang na-promote.
Kahapon ng umaga, mismong si PNP Chief, Police General Rodolfo S Azurin Jr. ang nangasiwa sa panunumpa ng 1,172 newly promoted police officers na nakatalaga sa National Headquarters sa isinagawang Simultaneous Oath-Taking, Donning and Pinning of Ranks Ceremony sa Camp Crame, Quezon City.
Sabay-sabay ang pinning at panunumpa sa pamamagitan ng zoom sa Police Regional Offices at provincial offices.
Sa record ng PNP Directorate for Personnel and Records Management (DPRM), sa 43,823 promotees ay nasa 2nd Level Uniformed Personnel Regular Promotion for Calendar Year 2022, 406 ang na-promote sa ranggong Police Major; 3,568 ay Police Captain; 273 ay Police Lieutenant Colonel; 1,707 ay Police Executive Master Sergeants (PEMS); 3,507 Police Chief Master Sergeants (PCMS); 3,033 Police Senior Master Sergeants (PSMS); 5,046 Police Master Sergeants (PMSg); 11,711 Police Staff Sergeants (PSSg); at 14,572 ay mga Police Corporal (PCpl).
