5-STAR SERVICE DIVISION UPGRADES SKILLS

5-Star Service Center

Isuzu Gencars Service Division promises to hold on to its name as a 5-Star Service Center and one of the best providers of automotive service in the country.

The continuous training and skills upgrading of its personnel received a boost recently as Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) held a review and appraisal of the Isuzu Gencars Service and Parts operations for several days in September.

Three IPC executives came to conduct the review and appraisal and give pointers during briefing sessions with employees. They were Masato Nagahashi and Daisuke Imaizumi, who reviewed and spoke about Parts operations; and Akihide Ito, on Service operations.

In a letter, D. Edgard A. Cabangon, company president and CEO, thanked Hajime Koso, IPC president, for providing a “very rewarding learning experience” on Parts and Service operations.

Service Division personnel who attended the sessions highly noted that they gained valuable insights and knowledge on how to improve their work.

The emphasis placed by Isuzu Gencars on manpower training has earned for the Service Division numerous awards for quality operations from IPC.  Isuzu Gencars, like IPC, believes that its responsibility to its customers extends to the upkeep and maintenance of its vehicles.

With its pool of client-friendly service crew who are equipped with the latest technical expertise in car maintenance and repair, Isuzu Gencars Service Division is quite capable of delivering total customer satisfaction. In most cases, employees and technicians are holders of certificates from the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), including National Certificates 1 to 4.

Mechanics and other car care workers receive regular update training to ensure that their skills continuously improve. They are trained to repair all kinds of Isuzu vehicles, especially trucks.

The Isuzu Gencars Service Shop is classified as a 5-Star automotive service shop after passing the standards set by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI). For years, it has been among the industry’s best service provider for vehicles.

Gencars Service Shop’s top-of-the-line equipment also ensure more efficient car maintenance services. Among these are Tech II Diagnostic Tool and Global Isuzu Diagnostic Service System.
