Pero nang maisabatas na ang RA 11459 o the PNP, BFP, BJMP and BUCOR Height Equality Act, ang pinapayagan na ang 5 feet and 2 inches sa mga lalake at 5 feet naman sa mga kababaihan para maitalagang Jail Officer 1.
Hinimok din ng BJMP na ipatupad rin ang nasabing batas sa lahat ng mga nangangasiwa sa lahat ng kanilang distrito, siyudad, at municipal jails sa buong bansa.
