NASA 6,831  ang panibagong napaulat na kaso ng coronavirus disease o COVID-19 sa Filipinas.

Sa huling datos ng Department of Health (DOH) araw ng Sabado (Mayo 22), pumalo na sa 1,178,217 ang confirmed cases ng nakakahawang sakit sa bansa.

Sa nasabing  bilang, 54,326 o 4.6 porsiyento ang aktibong kaso.

93.6 porsiyento sa active COVID-19 cases ang mild; 1.9 porsiyento ang asymptomatic; 1.26 porsyento ang moderate; 1.9 porsyento ang severe ha-bang 1.4 porsiyento ang nasa kritikal na kondisyon.

Nasa 183 naman ang napaulat na nasawi.

Dahil dito, umakyat na sa 19,946 o 1.69 porsyento ang COVID-19 related deaths sa bansa.

Ayon pa sa DOH, 7,981 naman ang gumaling pa sa COVID-19.

Dahil dito, umakyat na sa 1,103,945 o 93.7 porsiyento ang total recoveries ng COVID-19 sa bansa.

Samantala, umakyat sa 166 na milyon ang kaso ng COVID-19 sa buong mundo.

Batay ito sa pinakahuling tala ng World Health Organization (WHO), 15 milyon  ang bilang ng aktibong kaso ng COVID-19 sa daigdig.

Sa ngayon, nasa 3,400,000 naman ang bilang ng mga nasawi.

Samantala, nasa 147 milyon  ang bilang ng mga gumaling na matapos na tamaan ng CO­VID-19.
