Aniya,ngayong araw isasagawa ang magsasagawa ang first shot ng bakuna sa 350 personnel ng PNP General Hospital at sa susunod na linggo at ang ikalawang shot para sa kabuuang 700 doses.
Sa phone interview ng Pilipino MIRROR kay Eleazar na commander ng Administrative Support to COVID-19 Operations Task Force (ASCOTF), sinabi nito na iniutos ni PNP Chief Gen. Debold Sinas ang agarang pagbakuna sa iba pang health worker na hindi nakasama sa unang batch ng vaccination noong Marso 1 hanggang 7 gamit ang Sinovac vaccines.
Paglilinaw naman ni Eleazar, mga health workers o kawani ng PNP General Hospital ang prayoridad pa rin sa immunization gamit ang AstraZeneca.
“The vaccination of Astrazeneca will start on March 15 and we will prioritize the remaining health care workers, including the non-medical staff of our hospital and isolation facilities. And it will only be for those assigned here in National Capital Region due to the limited initial allocation,” ayon pa kay Eleazar.
