DALAWA pang Pinoy ang napauwi na mula sa Afghanistan na nasa ilalim ng militanteng grupo ng Taliban, ayon sa Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA).

Sinabi ng DFA na isa sa dalawang Pinoy ay nasa Doha, Qatar na habang ang isa ay nasa England.

Walo pang distressed Filipinos ang naghihintay ng repatriation habang may 24 pa ang nananatili sa Afghanistan.

“All 24 remaining (Filipinos) plan to join evacuation efforts but through different channels and timelines,” ayon sa DFA.

Kasabay nito ay kinondena ng ahensiya ang pinakahuling terrorist attacks sa Afghanistan.

Noong nakaraang linggo ay kinumpirma ng US military na 13 American troops ang nasawi sa  suicide attack sa labas ng Kabul airport. Labingwalong iba pa ang nasugatan sa pag-atake.

“We express our sincere condolences to the families of the victims and our fervent hope for the swift recovery of those who were injured,” ayon sa DFA.
