80K OFWs MAGBABALIK BANSA SA 2021

TINATAYANG nasa 80,000 Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) na naapektuhan ng pan­demyang COVID-19 ang inaasahang uuwi na ng Pilipinas sa susunod na taon.

Ayon kay Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) chief Hans Leo Cacdac, inaasahang magbabalik-bansa ang mga naturang OFW sa unang bahagi ng taong 2021.

Aniya, nasa kabuuang 370,000 OFWs na ang kanilang na-repatriate sa kasalukuyang taon.

Nasa 420,000 OFWs naman, ani Cacdac, ang nakatanggap na ng $200 o P10,000 cash aid mula sa gobyerno.
