MAGSISILBING Acting Secretary si Department of Budget and Management (DBM) officer-in-charge Janet Abuel.
Sa kanyang press statement, sinabi ni Presidential Spokesman Salvador Panelo na ito ang inanunsiyo ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa ginanap na cabinet meeting noong Lunes ng gabi.
“Yesterday’s cabinet meeting yesterday began with the President’s announcement of the appointment of DBM officer-in-charge/ Undersecretary Janet Abuel as Acting Secretary” sabi ni Panelo.
Pinalitan ni Abuel si Benjamin Diokno na itinalagang governor ng Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP).
Ayon kay Panelo, wala pang ipinalalabas na appointment papers dahil sa umiiral na election ban.
“She doesn’t have any formal appointment, it’s like he (Duterte) only told her that you will be there” sabi pa ni Panelo. EVELYN QUIROZ
