ACPACI DISTRIBUTES PPES TO HEALTH WORKERS

The Association for Certified Public Accountants in Commerce and Industry (ACPACI) was among the private organizations that extended assistance in the government efforts to stem the transmission of CoViD-19 among health care frontliners. As one of its Social Involvement projects in 2020, it distributed Personal Protective Equipments (PPEs) to health care workers at the Mandaluyong City Medical Center (MCMC).

According to Ms. Florencia Gorospe, ACPACI Director for Social Involvement, the health and safety of medical professionals are paramount in this time of the pandemic especially with the lack of health professionals in the country. ACPACI partnered with Philippine Association of Management Accountants (PAMA) and SM Foundation, Inc. for the project.

Aside from Gorospe, present during the distribution were Mr. Noel Ang, Chairperson for Social Involvement, Lolita Tang, PAMA president, and representatives from the MCMC led by Dra. Lyn Cequeña. Established in 1973, ACPACI seeks to upgrade professional development of CPAs in Commerce and Industry. Since its founding, its membership has increased to include comptrollers, finance officer and other executives affiliated with top corporations.
