INAPRUBAHAN na sa Senado ang Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) at Agrarian Reform Loan Condonation bills sa Senado.
Kasama sa labing-apat ang Condonation of Unpaid Amortization and Interest on Loans of Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Act at ang Act Further Strengthening Professionalism and Promoting the Continuity of Policies and Modernization Initiatives sa AFP, na parehong niratipikahan noong Miyerkoles, kasama ang bicameral conference.
“These two bills are part of the shared priority measures of the administration and the legislative, so we really endeavored to finalize them before adjournment,” ani Senate President Juan Miguel Zubiri.
Ang isa pang priority measure na umuusad sa Senado ay ang Mandatory Reserve Officers’ Training Corps at National Service Training Program.
Noong Lunes ay inaprubahan sa ikatlo at huling pagbasa ang Cultural Mapping Bill, One Town One Product Act, ang
“No Permit No Exam” Policy Prohibition Act, at ang Act Providing for Moratorium on the Payment of Student Loan during Disasters.
Noong Pebrero, sumang-ayon din ang Senado sa ratipikasyon ng Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership agreement, isa pang item sa common legislative agenda ng administrasyon at ng legislative.
