Sa isang writeup, sinabi ng Forbes na ang pinakamayayamang Pinoy ay may combined wealth na $80 billion noong 2022, tumaas ng 11% mula sa $72 billion noong 2021.
Tangan ng Sy siblings — kinokontrol ang SM Group — ang top spot sa 2023 kung saan nadagdagan ng $1.8 billion ang kanilang net worth sa $14.4 billion.
Ang Sy siblings ay sinundan ni property tycoon Manuel “Manny” Villar Jr. na ang kayamanan ay lumaki ng $1.9 billion sa $9.7 billion sa likod ng malakas na housing market. Inilista niya ang kanyang lpower business Premiere Island Power REIT noong December 2022.
Nasa third spot si ports magnate Enrique Razon Jr., na ang kayamanan ay lumaki ng $2.5 billion sa $8.1 billion.
