PUMALO sa P134.471 billion ang subsidiya ng national government sa government-owned and-controlled corporations (GOCCs) at government institutions mula Enero hanggang Nobyembre 2018, ayon sa Bureau of the Treasury (BTr).
Sa datos ng BTr, mas mataas ito ng 34.65 percent sa P99.861 billion na naitala sa kaparehong panahon noong 2017.
Sa buwan pa lamang ng Nobyembre, ang pamahalaan ay nagkaloob ng P8.086 billion subsidy mula sa P5.961 billion noong 2017, o mas mataas ng 35.64 percent.
Sa naturang buwan, ang tumanggap ng pinakamalaking subsidiya mula sa gobyerno ay ang Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (Philhealth) na may P2.762 billion, sumusunod ang Philippine Economic Zone Authority (Peza) na may P2.024 billion, at ang National Irrigation Administration (NIA), P1.693 billion.
Ang iba pang GOCCs na tumanggap ng subsidies para sa Nobyembre ay ang Land Bank of the Philippines na may P558 million; Development Bank of the Philippines, P351 million; Philippine Postal Corporation, P145 million; Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions na may P101 million; Philippine Children’s Medical Center na may P90 million; Philippine Heart Center, P72 million; Light Rail Transit Authority, P58 million; at National Kidney Transplant Institute na may P49 million.
Nasa talaan din ang Philippine Rice Research Institute na may P32 million; Development Academy of the Philippines na may P24 million; Cultural Center of the Philippines, P21 million; Lung Center of the Philippines, P20 million; Local Water Utilities Administration na may P16 million; Philippine Institute of Traditional and Alternative Health Care, P14 million; Bases Conversion and Development Authority na may P12 million; Philippine Institute for Development Studies, P11 million; Philippine Center for Economic Development, P9 million; Philippine Fisheries Development Authority na may P6 million; People’s Television Network, Inc., P6 million; Zamboanga City Special Economic Zone Authority, P4 million; Southern Philippines Development Authority, P4 million; at Aurora Pacific Economic Zone and Freeport Authority na may P4 million.
