PATULOY ang isinasagawang ‘Ayuda Sa Atleta’ program at sa pagkakataong ito, ang mga bayaning Para athletes sa chess, triathlon, wheelchaiir basketball, athletics, dancesport at badminton ang nakalinyang makatanggap ng ‘eco bag’ na naglalaman ng bitamina, Gatorade drinks, Milo sachets, Alaska products, alcohol, soap, shampoo, toothpaste, at face masks.
“We had to struggle with logistical problems on storage of the donated products from Gatorade, Milo, and Alaska, plus the other items we bought, then the delivery system.With the assistance of PHILSPADA, we were able to connect with different sports groups,” pahayag ni sports journalist Lito Cinco, ang project initiator.
Kabilang sa pick up points ang tahanan ni Cinco sa Taguig, gayundin ang tahanan ni Annette Nelmida, ina nina blind paratriathletes Joshua at Jerome sa Muntinlupa.
Nanawagan si dating Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) Chairman Tom Carrasco, isa rin sa nagpapatakbo ng programa, sa mga atleta na makipag-ugnayan kina Cinco (0920 9241981) at Nelmida (0917 6263255) para sa maayos na sistema.
