SINIMULAN na ang pamamahagi ng ayuda para sa mga indibidwal na apektado ng enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) sa Marikina.
Pinamunuan ni Marikina City Mayor Marcy Teodoro, Social Welfare Secretary Rolando Bautista at
Interior and Local Government USec. Martin Dinio ang pamamahagi ng tulong pinansiyal sa Kalumpang Elementary School na isa sa 16 na distribution center sa lungsod.
Ayon kay Teodoro, 2,176 na indibidwal ang target na maayudahan na sisikaping matapos sa loob ng 15 araw sa lahat ng mga kuwalipikadong benepisyaryo na nasa 73,887 ang kabuuang bilang.
Paliwanag ng alkalde sa pamimigay ng ayuda sa Kalumpang, mahaba ang naging pila pero kontrolado naman ang sitwasyon dahil sa presensya ng mga pulis.
Ipinatutupad ang Social Distancing at ang pagsusuot ng face mask at face shield kung saan 35 na classroom ang ginamit sa distribusyon center kung saan bawat silid-aralan ay may 15 katao lamang ang pinapapasok.
Panawagan ni Teodoro sa mga benipisyaryo na gamitin sa tama ang perang matatanggap at ipambili ito ng pagkain at gamot.
Kaugnay nito, sumunod na din ang lokal na pamahalaan ng Las Piñas sa pamamahagi ng “ayudang cash” na sisimulan kahapon para sa mga residente na naapektuhan ECQ.
Sinabi ni Las Piñas City Mayor Imelda Aguilar na ang distribusyon ng P1,000 sa bawat indibidwal o kaya ay P4,000 kada pamilya ay sabay-sabay na ipagkakaloob sa mga itinalagang distribution centers sa 20 barangay sa lungsod.
Aabot sa 126,000 pamilya ang nasa listahan bilang benepisyaryo ng gobyerno kung saan P501 milyon ang ipinagkaloob sa pamahalaang lungsod para sa mga apektadong pamilya.
