BINUKSAN sa publiko ng pamahalaan ang 18-kilometrong Central Luzon Link Expressway (CLLEX) na magkokonekta sa SCTEX/TPLEX sa Tarlac City, at Aliaga-Guimba Road sa Aliaga, ng Nueva Ecija.
Ayon sa pamunuan ng Unified Project Management Office (UPMO) ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), ang proyektong ito ay pinondohan ng Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) na bahagi ng Build, Build,Build program ng Duterte administration.
Sa pamamagitan ng bagong expressway na ito, mababawasan ang travel time ng mga motorista sa halip na 70 minuto, magiging 20 minuto na lamang ang takbo mula Tarlac City papuntang Cabanatuan City.
Ayon kay DPWH Undersecreatry Emil Sadain ng UPMO, bukod sa mabilis na biyahe ay masasaksihan ng mga motorista ang magagandang tanawin sa Central Luzon, at sariwang hangin habang binabaybay ang kahabaan ng 30 kilometrong expressway.
Dagdag pa ni Sadain, ang 18 km expressway ay kinabibilangan ng 4.10 kilometer Tarlac Section, 6.40 kilometer Rio Chiio River Bridges section, at ang 1.5 kilometer Rio Chico Viaduct, Aliaga section at Guimba-Aliaga Road. FROILAN MORALLOS
