Sinabi ni Moreno, ang pamahalaang lungsod ay maglalagay ng golf carts sa loob ng zoo para magamit ng senior citizens at ng mga physically-challenged nang walang bayad.
Sa pamamagitan ng carts, ang mga PWD ay makakapag-ikot at mae-enjoy ang mga atraksyon nang walang hirap.
Binigyang direktiba ni Moreno si Parks and Recreation Bureau chief Pio Morabe na ihanda na ang mga carts na may Safari design dahil may kahirapan sa iba na ikutin ang buong zoo na may sukat na 5.5-ektarya.
Ipinagmalaki ng alkalde na ang bagong Manila Zoo ay mayroong atraksyon na katulad ng makikita sa mga zoo sa ibang bansa.
Sinigurado ni Moreno na walang pinutol na puno habang ginagawa ang bagong Manila Zoo.
Sinabi ng alkalde na ang disenyo ay sinadya upang matiyak na ang maraming matatandang puno sa loob ng zoo ay hindi magalaw at manatili sa kanilang kinalalagyan.
Samantala, inanunsyo ng pamahalaang lungsod na tumatanggap na ng mga aplikante para sa Manila Government Internship Program (GIP) at sa Manila Special Program for the Employment of Students (SPES).
Ito ay kaugnay ng programa ng lungsod na tinawag na ‘Trabaho, Trabaho, Trabaho 2021’na magiging first come,first served basis para sa mga interesado.
