NAKAHANDA si Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) Chairman Noli Eala na tulungan si Bince Rafael Operiano, ang batang chess wizard na nanalo ng ginto sa katatapos na 6th Eastern Asia Youth Championship sa Bangkok, Thailand.

“I heard he (Bince) encountered financial difficulty in his participation in the chess tournament in Thailand. I am inviting him and his parents on how the sports agency can help him financially in his future international competitions,” sabi ni Eala.

“We recognize Bince’s potential and we are grateful for all his sacrifices to achieve what he has. His remarkable victory indeed “Bince brought honour to the country. His countrymen are proud of his achievement. He is a rare breed in chess every Filipino should emulate,” dagdag ni Eala. brought honour to the country and the Filipino people,” wika ni Eala.

Sinabi ni Eala na makikipag-ugnayan siya sa National Chess Federation of the Philippines (NCFP) para malaman kung paano matutulungan at ma-develop ang kanyang God-given talent sa chess.

“Ang mandate ng PSC ay alagaan at tulungan ang mga atleta sa kanilang paglahok sa mga overseas tournaments. PSC is here ready to extend help and support to Bince,” pahayag ng PSC chief.

Binigyang pugay ni Eala si Bince dahil sa kanyang tagumpay sa Thailand kung saan tinalo ng chess prodigy ang kanyang mga kalaban sa black and white Si Bince ang huling Pinoy na nagtagumpay sa taong kasalukuyan matapos nina Carlos Yulo, Carlo Biado, Rubilyn Amit, Johann Chua at Junna Tsukii.

Nanalo si Yulo ng pilak af tanso sa World Artistic Gymnastics sa Liverpool, Great Britain; nagwagi sina Biado, Amit at Chua sa World Predator 10-Ball Team Billiard sa Austria, at si Tsukii ay nagtagumpay sa karate sa World Games sa Alabama, USA.
