BATANG PINOY GRAND WINNERS ISASABAK SA INT’L COMPETITIONS

MAGKAKAROON ng pagkakataong makapaglaro sa international competitions, kabilang ang World Youth Olympics, Asian Youth, Southeast Asian Youth,  Children of Asia tournament at Asian Youth Softball, ang mga atletang magpapakita ng potensiyal sa Batang Pinoy grand finals na  gaganapin sa Agosto 25-31 sa Puerto ­Princesa.

“I know all of you want to play for the Philippines and this is your chance to show your individual skills. I am challenging you to play your best out there if you want to play for the country,” sabi ni Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) Chairman at Chief of Mission William ‘Butch’ Ramirez.

May 5,663 atleta ang magpapasiklaban sa limang araw na torneo na itinataguyod ng PSC, sa pakikipagtulungan ng local government units.

Magiging panauhing pandangal at tagapagsalita si Ramirez, kasama sina Commissioners Arnold Agustin, Ramon Fernandez at Charles Maxey.

“Since the introduction of Batang Pinoy, countless promising athletes have been discovered. I am quite positive and optimistic a horde of young potential athletes will surface this year’s edition of Batang Pinoy,” sabi ni Ramirez.

Naglaan ang PSC ng P16 million para masiguro ang tagumpay ng Batang Pinoy grand finals. CLYDE MARIANO
