Nagtala si CJ Perez ng kanyang sariling double-double na 26 points at 12 rebounds habang kumana si Vic Manuel ng perfect 9-for-9 from mula sa field para sa 20 points at hindi hinayaan ng second-ranked SMB na masayang ang kanilang win-once advantage laban sa seventh-seeded opponent.

Nagbuhos si bagong import Tom Vodanovich ng 39 points at 10 rebounds para sa Converge subalit hindi ito naging sapat para maisalba ang FiberXers sa pagkakasibak.
“We just watched his last film, when he played about a month ago. That was the only basis that we could scout him,” ani Gallent. “We knew he was very aggressive and a good three-point shooter so we prepared for that defensively.”.
