BUCKS RERESBAK SA GAME 2

PINAYAGAN ulit si Giannis Antetokounmpo na maglaro sa Game 2 kung saan tatangkain ng Milwaukee Bucks na maitabla ang serye ng NBA Finals kontra Phoenix Suns sa Huwebes.

“I feel good,” wika ni Antetokounmpo. “I felt good (Tuesday). My body feels good. Going into Game 2, hopefully I can feel more comfortable. Make more plays.”

Si Antetokounmpo, inakala ng marami na hindi na makapaglalaro sa season makaraang mahyperextend ang kanyang kaliwang tuhod sa Game 4 ng Eastern Conference finals, ay bumalik sa Game 1 noong Martes at gumawa ng 20 points at 17 rebounds sa loob ng 35 minuto.

Noong Miyerkoles ay sinabi niyang maganda ang kanyang pakiramdam matapos ang laro at walang dapat ikabahala.

“We’re fortunate to see the work that goes on behind the scenes. He is always pushing,” wika ni Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer.

“Always impressing. … There’s so much respect for Giannis for what he does.”

Naharap sa posibilidad na maging free agent ngayong summer, si Antetokounmpo ay lumagda sa  longterm sa Bucks sa offseason, at sinabing nakapokus siya sa pagbibigay sa Bucks ng kampeonato.

“To win a championship in Milwaukee — it’s a goal of mine. You see a lot of people have different routes. You can never judge anybody for the way he chooses to win a championship,” ani Antetokounmpo.

“At the end of the day, doing it with the team that you started … it means more. To me, it’s like a dream. It’s a goal of mine. Not just me, everybody. Every player that plays in the NBA wants to win a championship. Most of them. But doing it with the team that drafted you with the city that embraced you and the organization that helped you, it means a lot.”
