Kinumpirma ng Commission on Appointments (CA) ang ad interim appointment ni Hans Leo Cacdac bilang kalihim ng Department of Migrant Workers (DMW).
Ito ay matapos i-deliberate ng miyembro ng CA panel ng labor employment, social welfare, and migrant workers ang kanyang posisyon.
Itinalaga ni Pangulong Bongbong Marcos si Cacdac bilang kalihim ng DMW noong Abril.

We are confident that with your continued guidance, the DMW can significantly impact and transform the lives of our overseas Filipino workers and their families,” pahayag ng DMW.
Bago pa man ang kanyang appointment, itinalaga na siya bilang officer-in-charge ng ahensya nang pumanaw ang dating kalihim na si Toots Ople.
