BINISITA ni Team Philippines Chef de Mission William I. Ramirez, kasama sina Deputy Chefs de Mission Stephen Fernandez, Mon Fernandez, Charles Maxey at Arnold Agustin ang competition venues para sa 30th Southeast Asian Games sa Subic, Zambales at New Clark City sa Capas, Tarlac kahapon.
Unang pinuntahan ni Ramirez ang Subic Boardwalk na magiging venue para sa triathlon, duathlon, open water swim at modern pentathlon, na sinundan ng Subic covered court gym na magiging venue para sa sepak takraw at ng Subic Tennis Courts na magiging host ng beach handball at beach volleyball competitions ng biennial meet.
Binisita rin nila ang Subic Bay Exhibition and Convention Center (SBECC) na magiging playing venue para sa muay, pencak silat at table tennis events.
“We are thankful to the President for supporting Philippine sports,” wika ni Ramirez.
Huling binisita ng grupo ang New Clark City, na 93% nang kumpleto, ayon kay Engr. Jerico Bondoc ng Bases Conversion and Development Authority at siya ring Phisgoc venue manager.
Ang sports facilities sa NCC ay kinabibilangan ng Athletics Stadium and Aquatic Center na opisyal na sesertipikahan ng IAAF at FINA sa pag-tatapos ng buwan bilang Class 1 sports venues.
“We will continue to update the President, through Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea and Committee on Sports Chairman Sen. Bong Go on the developments of these competition venues in both Subic and Clark,” dagdag ni Ramirez.
Samantala, ang Athletes Village na may 525 rooms at 2,100 beds para sa mga atleta ay magbubukas sa Nob. 20.
