BINUKSAN na sa publiko ng Department of Health (DOH) ang Center for Vaccination at Clinical Laboratory sa Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Rizal, Batangas, Quezon).
Mismong si Regional Director Eduardo Janairo ang nanguna sa pagbubukas ng mga naturang pasilidad na matatagpuan sa Southern Tagalog Regional Hospital (STRH) sa Bacoor City, Cavite.
“I commend the STRH family for continuously implementing development and reforms for the improvement of its services. Kailangan nating pagtibayin ang ating mga serbisyong pangkalusugan upang matugunan natin ang mga pangangailangan ng ating mga kababayan. We have to be prepared always to face the challenges in our health care system,” ani Janairo, sa kanyang mensahe para sa pagbabasbas at inagurasyon sa naturang mga pasilidad.
“What is strong now, we have to make it stronger at mas palakasin pa natin for health services purposes. We must not succumb to the immense pressure that is facing our health system today, instead let us reinforce the need for improved measures mot only to protect the health of our patients but also the lives of health care providers to enable a better health care response,” dagdag pa ni Janairo.
Nabatid na ang konstruksiyon ng STRH Vaccination Center at Clinical Laboratory ay nagsimula noong Oktubre 2020 at pinondohan ng P30 milyon.
Sinabi ni Janairo na ang vaccination center ay gagamitin muna para sa nalalapit na COVID-19 vaccination program at saka ito palalawakin upang ma-accommodate ang animal bite at routine immunizations.
“This center will later on cater for all vaccinations, for parents and child para maiwasan na rin ang pagsasagawa ng mass vaccination and this will be opened eventually 24/7 para makapunta at makapagbakuna ang lahat at their convenient time,” ani Janairo.
“In due time this will become a regional vaccination center,” aniya pa.
Kabilang sa mga sumaksi sa aktibidad ay sina Bacoor City Mayor Lanie Mercado Revilla, Assistant Regional Director Paula Paz Sydiongco at STRH Medical Chief Ruby Ephraim Rubiano, gayundin ang mga opisyal ng Bacoor City LGU, at staffs ng DOH-Calabarzon at STRH, na nagdiriwang rin ng ikalawang foundation anniversary nito.
