CHAPEL NG OSPITAL GINAWANG ICU

SA inisyatibo ni Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte ipapa-convert bilang 21-bed para sa intensive care unit (ICU) ang chapel ng Quezon City General Hospital and Medical Center para tumanggap ng mas maraming ‘severe’ COVID-19 cases sa lungsod.

“Our COVID-19 ward and ICU has already reached its full capacity. With this extension facility, we hope to admit more COVID-19 patients who are in need of urgent and extensive treatment,” ayon kay QCGHMC Director Dr. Josephine Sabando,

Sinimulan na ng QC LGU ang paglalagay ng hospitals beds sa pasilidad ng Chapel at mga kagamitan gaya ng pagmonitor sa mga pasyente, high flow machines at ventilators.

“Once we positioned the beds and received the machines, we can start assigning doctors and nurses in the extended facility and make it fully-operational,” ani Sabando.

“We have also reached full capacity sa ating non-covid ward and pediatric ward. Despite these, we will still admit urgent cases like trauma cases, vehicular accidents and acute cases of stroke as well as obstetric cases. Non-urgent cases should consult first through our teleconsult services para mai-schedule kung kinakailangan nila ng face-to-face consultation,” dagdag pa nito.

Samantala, sa huling datos ay nasa 92.2% o 110,254 na ang gumaling mula sa #COVID19PH sa lungsod.
Ayon sa QC Epidemiology and Disease Surveillance Unit (CESU), 8,013 ang kumpirmadong active cases mula sa 119,553 na kabuuang bilang ng nagpositibo sa lungsod.

Dumadaan sa validation ng CESU, health center staff at mga opisyal ng barangay ang datos na mula sa DOH para masigurong sila ay residente ng QC.

Maaari umanong magbago pa ang bilang ng mga kaso sa lungsod dahil na rin sa isinasagawang community-based testing. EVELYN GARCIA
