KASUNOD ng kalituhan dulot ng mga regular checkpoint sa Metro Manila partikular ang sa boundary ng Quezon City at San Mateo, Rizal, agad inayos ni Philippine National Police (PNP) Officer-In-Charge, Lt. Gen. Guillermo Eleazar ang mga problema na naranasan noong Marso 22, unang araw sa pagpapatupad ng “NCR PLUS Bubble”.
Ang NCR Plus Bubble ay ang galaw ng mga residente o nasa loob ng Metro Manila, Rizal, Laguna, Cavite at Bulacan na isinailalim sa general community quarantine upang pigilan ang malaking dagdag ng kaso ng COVID-19.
Ayon kay Eleazar, nagbigay na siya ng instructions sa mga commander na nakakasakop sa mga lugar na nagkaproblema dulot ng kalituhan sa mga nagmamando ng regular checkpoint.
Paliwanag ni Eleazar, expanded ang tinawag nilang NCR Plus Bubble kaya’t hindi na dapat mapigilan ang paggalaw ng mga tao sa loob ng Metro Manila papasok at palabas sa mga lalawigan ng Bulacan, Rizal, Laguna at Cavite, gayundin ang mga residente sa nabanggit na mga lalawigan papasok naman ng Metro Manila.
Aniya, maghihigpit lang sa boundary ng Bulacan at Pampanga at Nueva Ecija, boundary ng Laguna at Quezon; at boundary ng Cavite at Batangas.
Ang essential workers at ang mga may mahahalagang lakad lamang ang padadaanin sa mga checkpoint sa pagitan ng NCR Plus Bubble o naturang mga boundary.
Nakiusap si Eleazar sa mga apektadong mamamayan na unawain ang trabaho ng mga pulis sa checkpoints dahil naatasan lamang sila na ipatupad ang kautusan ng Inter-Agency Task Force.
