WINFORD Resort & Casino Manila (WRCM) recently hosted the 2023 edition of Christmasaya mula sa Winford, an annual yuletide gift-giving outreach program for residents of the Sta. Cruz, Manila community and neighboring barangays.
“Winford Manila is now on its sixth year of operations here in Sta. Cruz,” said WRCM president and chief operating officer Jeffrey Evora in Tagalog as he addressed the beneficiaries in attendance. “We owe our success to each and every member of this community who has supported us since we first opened our doors. Today’s gift-giving and meal-sharing activity is not only our way of saying ‘thank you’, but also a symbol of our friendship that we will forever cherish.”
First launched in 2017 as a collaboration between WRCM and the Philippine Amusement & Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR), beneficiaries of this annual initiative are identified and selected by their respective barangay captains with whom WRCM maintains a close and healthy relationship.
