CIARA SOTTO KAY VALEEN MONTENEGRO: LIARS GO TO HELL, ‘DI BA?

MORE than three years nang hiwalay sina Ciara Sotto at ang asawa niyang si Joe Oconer. Barely one year old pa lang si Crixus nang magkahiwalay sila pero ayon kay Ciara ay masaya naman siya sa ngayon.

Nakausap ng working press si Ciara Sotto sa press launch ng TVN Asia’s One Night Food Trip International Edition 2 at the City of Dreams, Para-ñaque City.

“I’m happy, lalo na ngayon may project kami ni Danica (Sotto) na ganito.

“It’s been really good. Life’s been good and I’m very thankful to God for that.”

Maligaya raw siya with the way Crixus is growing up.

Simply stated, she seemed to be saying that her life is a lot better now than when she used to have a solid family.

“For me,” she candidly said, “yes, of course. “Pero ganun naman talaga ang marriage. Meron kayong pagdaraanang mahirap.

“Pero kung hindi mo na talaga kaya and you possibly think that you’re compromising your own happiness, if the setup is not making you a better person, then it’s better to let go. And I have a zero tolerance for cheating. So, I think it’s time to let go.”

Ciara candidly admitted that it was she who filed an annulment.

“Kesa paglaki pa niya, mas marami na siyang tanong. ‘Bakit ka nagpupunta sa court?’ It would be easier for him. Yung anak ko rin ang iniisip ko.”

Base sa kanyang statement, it would be gleaned that Valeen Montenegro is supposedly the third party in their parting of ways.

When asked to comment about Valeen’s interview, na nadamay lang daw siya supposedly sa publicity ng hiwalayan nila ni Joe, Ciara guffawed and wouldn’t want to comment anymore. “Actually, if that’s her version of the truth, I cannot comment on that.

“Pero ako kasi, takot akong magsinu­ngaling. Liars go to hell, ‘di ba?”

The presence of a third party nga ba ang dahilan ng kanilang paghihiwalay bilang mag-asawa?

“Yes, yes, but it’s not just because of that. Ma­rami na kasing… pero yun talaga ang nag-trigger.

“So, for me, that’s enough. I feel very disrespected.”

Moving on from a broken marriage is not that easy.

For one year, grabe raw talaga ang sakit.

“But then again,” she went on cooly, “for me, makikita mo support system ng family ko, yung anak ko. He’s such a joy to be with. So, parang mas naging madali. And number one talaga is God. God really gave me the strength.”

Sa ngayon, civil naman daw sila with each other ng kanyang estranged husband.  Kahit ang relasyon sa kanilang anak ay maayos din naman.

AI AI DELAS ALAS VS. JOHN ESTRADA FOR THE SEASON

ENDER OF LIP SYNC BATTLE PHILIPPINES

LAST Sunday (July 1), Lip Sync Battle Philippines closed its third season with one of its most epic, unexpected, and funniest battles.

Kapuso star John Estrada brought the house down by challenging Comedy Concert Queen Ai Ai delas Alas to a lip sync duel.

Host Michael V. and color commentator Iya Villania-Arellano opened the night with a powerful lip sync of the millennial club favorite, “Titanium” by David Guetta.

John and Ai Ai, who call each other “labs”, are real-life friends who have worked together for a long time. Viewers were treated to a spontaneous and no-holds-barred banter between John and Ai Ai as they entertained everyone with their funny punch lines and crazy antics.

The finale episode served as John’s first musical performance as a Kapuso and also his first in many years, and he surprised everyone with his song choices. Ai Ai, on the other hand, did not make it easy for John as she prepared a one-of-a-kind performance that she has never done before.

And with that, ito po ang Kuya Pete ninyo na nagsasabing, Christopher, my son, I love you very, very much, my love for you goes beyond eternity.
