Citystate Asturias Palawan Hotel received the Tourism Resilience Award and Outstanding Community Service Award from the City Government of Puerto Princesa during the Tourism Gala and Awards Night spearheaded by the City Tourism Department on September 28, 2022 at the Aziza Hotel, Puerto Princesa City, Palawan.
The awards were in recognition of the hotel’s efforts as a tourism enterprise to remain steadfast in its mission to the community, and for having consistently demonstrated qualities of compassion and service to others during the challenges of the past years.
Aside from the two awards, Citystate Asturias also received three Certificates of Recognition for its contributions during the peak of the COVID-19 crisis. The recognitions highlighted Citystate Asturias’ participation in the Food Pantry Project, generous contribution to the Tabang Food Drive, and service as a quarantine facility during the height of the pandemic.
Angelica C. Duran, Human Resources officer, received the awards and recognitions on behalf of Citystate Asturias Palawan Hotel during the Gala and Awards Night.
Citystate Asturias Palawan Hotel is a member of the ALC Group of Companies founded by the later Ambassador Antonio L. Cabangon Chua, and currently headed by its chairman, D. Edgard A. Cabangon.
