KINANSELA ng Commission on Elections ang Certificates of Candidacy (COC) ng independent candidate na si Arlene Josephine Butay.

Ito ayon kay COMELEC Spokesperson James Jimenez ay dahil dalawa ang COC na isinumite ni Butay – isa sa pagka bise presidente at isa sa pagka senador.

Nakasaad sa COMELEC regulations na ang kandidatong maghahain ng COC para sa dalawa o mas marami pang posisyon ay hindi magiging eligibile sa mga tatakbuhan nito. DWIZ882
