PINANGUNAHAN nina world-renowned Filipina bowler Olivia ‘Bong’  Coo at Gymnastics Association of the Philippines (GAP) president Cynthia Carrion ang women empowerment web series ng Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) na tinawag na Rise Up! Shape Up kahapon.

“These powerful and decorated women in the sports scene make us proud of their achievements and inspire us to prioritize our health proving that age is just a number,” ani Ramirez.

Sinabi pa ng sports chief na “together yet apart, we Filipinos share the responsibility of keeping everyone safe.”

“Women need to manage their health better later in life as medical studies show that they are more prone to heart disease, osteoporosis, Alzheimer’s, depression and anxiety, and hormone changes. Coronavirus is still around and is an addition to the health threats present now,” dagdag ni Kiram. CLYDE MARIANO
