CSBank Katipunan Branch moves to a new location

Citystate Savings Bank (CSBank), the thrift bank arm of the ALC Group of Companies, recently opened its Katipunan Branch in a new location on the Ground Floor of the SMRC Bldg. at 331 Katipunan Avenue, Loyola Heights in Quezon City, on December 16, 2024. The new branch is part of CSBank’s branch transformation program to improve its network and facilities and enhance customer experience.

CSBank Katipunan has been serving business establishments, retail stores, universities, residents, and students in the area since it opened in July 2007. The bank’s 20th branch is part of its 34-branch network located in strategic areas across the Philippines.

The simple ceremony started with a blessing officiated by Fr. Herbert Santos, the parish priest of Our Lady of Pentecost Parish, followed by the coin shower and light snacks.

Present during the branch opening were guests Gen. Thomas P. Manlongat and Architect Roland Joseph Rosell of Rosell Architects. The CSBank attendees were led by President Jaime Valentin L. Araneta; Operations Support Group Head Haydee Cajilog; East Cluster Head Gilda C. Alunan; General Services Department Engineers Nuvin Gonzales and Jo Ablan; and Integrated Marketing & Communications Consultant Eric Montelibano. Also present were the Katipunan Branch Team headed by Business Manager Jedd Kirk F. Fano, Service Head Erecel Jade G. Bello, CSA Alain Jerome R. Geronimo, Service Teller Cristine C. Mesias, and JA Allan F. Ibanez.

Aside from its Branch Improvement Program, CSBank continues to work on its digital banking platform, which is set to be launched subject to regulatory approvals. The bank aims to enhance the delivery of products and services and focus on providing a better customer experience. It recently engaged a third party for its cash management services to allow it to focus on its core business.

CSBank started its transformation journey in 2020 by introducing improvements to its systems and processes, enabling the bank to deliver better services. In addition to opening four additional Branch Lite Units, it has introduced Teachers’ Loans and Auto Loans to its product offerings. The move to the new Katipunan Branch reinforces this journey and affirms CSBank’s commitment to its customers and the Philippine economy. Indeed, it’s a good time to grow.

CSBank is part of the ALC Group of Companies, founded by the late Amb. Antonio L. Cabangon Chua and currently chaired by D. Edgard A. Cabangon. The bank opened its first branch in 1997 and now has 34 branches in strategic locations across the Philippines. It offers deposit and investment products, consumer and commercial loans, foreign exchange, trust and treasury products, and ATM services. It also launched the country’s first pet savings account, called the Prawxy Pet Savings Account.
