DA NAGLULUKSA SA PAGPANAW NI USEC FOR LIVESTOCK DEOGRACIAS SAVELLANO NA KABIYAK NG AKTRES NA SI DINA BONNEVIE

Nagluluksa ang buong Department of Agriculture (DA) sa pagpanaw ni Undersecretary Deogracias Victor DV Savellano sa edad na 65.

Si Savellano ay kabiyak ng aktres na si Dina Bonnevie.

Ito ang kinumpirma ng provincial government ng Ilocos Sur.Sa ngayon ay wala pang impormasyon sa dahilan ng kanyang pagkasawi.

“The Department of Agriculture joins in mourning the passing of Undersecretary Deogracias Victor “DV” B. Savellano on January 7, 2025.We extend out deepest condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues during this time of profound loss,” nakasaad sa isang statement ng DA ngayong Martes.

“As the Department’s Undersecretary for Livestock from 2023 to the present, USEC DV’s unwavering commitment to advancing the livestock industry has made a significant impact on agriculture.His leadership has been instrumental in driving initiatives that enhance the productivity, sustainability, and food security in agriculture,”sabi ng DA.

“To honor his legacy, the Philippine flag at the Department of Agriculture’s main building is flown at half-staff to mourn the passing of USEC Savellano,” dagdag pa ng DA.

“I am deeply saddened by the passing of Undersecretary Deogracias Victor “DV” Savellano, a true public servant,a dear friend , and someone whose heart always belonged to the people he served,”sabi ni President Ferdinand Marcor Jr. sa isang pahayag.

Si Savellano ay dating gobernador at kinatawan ng Ilocos Sur.Nagpasalamat din ang Pangulo kay Savellano bilang opisyal ng DA.

“As Governor and Representative of Ilocos Sur, DV brought meaningful progress to the province, always guided by his love for Ilocos and its people.He carried the same dedication to his role at the Department of Agriculture working tirelessly to strengthen our livestock sector and support farmers across the country.To his family and loved ones, I offer my sincerest condolences.DV’s legacy will endure in the lives he touched and in the progress he brought to Ilocos and the region,” sabi ni Marcos.
