LAGUNA – BINAWIAN ng buhay matapos makipaglaban sa COVID-19 ang dating mayor ng Liliw, Laguna.

Ayon kay Mayor Ericson Sulibit, dalawang Linggong nakipaglaban sa Global City Hospital sa bayan ng Bay ang kanyang ama na si Cesar “Akong” Sulibit, 71-anyos, mula nang mahawahan ito ng COVID-19.

Aniya, tanggap nila ang hindi inaasahang pangyayari at nasa maayos naman kalalagayan ang kanilang pamilya.

Binawian ng buhay ang dating alkalde pasado ala-5 ng hapon nitong Lunes.

Dahil dito, agarang nagsagawa ng contact tracing ang pamunuan ng Municipal Health sa lugar matapos makumpirma na positibo ang dating alkalde kung saan ang lahat ay pinag-iingat.

Matatandaang halos ilang araw pa lamang ang nakalilipas nang bawian din ng buhay ang alkalde ng Famy,Laguna at ina ito dahil sa COVID-19. DICK GARAY
