Namayani siya laban sa isang karateka mula sa Norway sa quarterfinals at sa isang American bet sa semifinals.

Sa dalawang panalo, napanatili ni De Los Santos ang pagiging world’s best e-kata athlete na may kabuuang 23,360 points. Nasa malayong ikalawa si Moreno-Domont na may 11,985 points, kasunod si Cerone-Biogioni na may 9,840 points.
