Aniya, bumabagal na ang pagkalat ng COVID-19 sa bansa at bumubuti na ang sitwasyon kaya makakayanan na ng pamahalaan na paalisin ang mga healthcare worker.
Para masiguro na may sapat na medical professionals ang bansa para ipagpatuloy ang paglaban sa pandemya, 5,000 healthcare workers lamang ang papayagang mangibang-bayan kada taon.
“We are starting only with a cap of 5,000 so we will not run out (of medical workers), but this may increase eventually,” ani Bello. s
Sa datos mula sa Commission on Higher Education (CHED) at Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA), noong nakaraang taon ay halos 17,000 nurses ang pumirma ng overseas work contracts.
