POSIBLENG maipalabas na sa Agosto ang digital COVID-19 vaccination certificates.

Ayon kay Information and Communications Undersecretary Manny Caintic, maisasakatuparan ito kung maisusumite ng mga lokal na pamahalaan ang mga pangalan ng mga bakunado upang mai-upload ang datos sa vaccine information management system.

“Kung nai-submit na ng mga LGU ang kanilang listahan come July 31, puwede na tayo mag-issue ng vaccine certificate, at puwede ‘yan gamitin for international travel,” wika ni Caintic sa isang briefing.

“Ang atin pong hinihintay ay sapat na datos galing sa mga LGU (local government units)… para sa ganun, ‘pag mag-request naman ang isang tao ng isang vaccine certificate, nandoon ang record niya most likely,” dagdag pa niya.

Ani Caintic, bumuo ang ahensiya ng isang sistema alinsunod sa digital certificate standards ng World Health Organization (WHO)

Noong Biyernes ay sinabi ni Health Undersecretary Maria Vergeire na  plano ng DICT na lumikha ng isang mobile application na maglalaman ng digital version ng vaccination card at QR code na maaaring i-scan kung kailangan ng mga tao na magpakita ng katibayan ng kanilang COVID-19 immunization para makapasok sa isang lugar.

“DICT committed yesterday in the IATF (Inter-Agency Task Force) meeting na meron na tayong sistema. Kailangan lang talaga, local governments have to cooperate and submit every day itong listahan nila ng nabakunahan,” ani Vergeire sa isang online media forum.

Kinumpirma ni Caintic ang pahayag ni Vergeire.

Samantala, hinikayat ni Vergeire ang local governments na mag-isyu ng vaccination cards na hindi mapepeke.

“We really need to use technology so it is going to be tamper-proof…because if you use technology, you can easily verify these vaccination cards,” aniya.
