(Disaster response operations ikinasa vs Tisoy) PNP NAKA-FULL ALERT SA LUZON AT VISAYAS

FULL alert ang status ng Philippine National Police (PNP) sa Luzon at Visayas upang matiyak na agad marerespondehan ang mga mamamayang mabibiktima ng pagbaha at pagguho bunsod ng Bagyong Tisoy.

Ipinag-utos ni PNP- Officer-in-Charge, Lt. Gen. Archie Francisco F. Gamboa sa lahat ng kanyang tauhan na paganahin na ang disaster response operations sa mga lugar na pinangangambahang maapektuhan ng bagyo kasama na rin ang mga venue para sa 30th Southeast Asian  Games.

Pinagana na rin ni Gamboa ang National Headquarters 1st Level Battle Staff para matiyak na kumilos ang command and control sa lahat ng PNP disaster response ­operations.

Kumikilos na rin ang Police Regional Offices katuwang ang Disaster Incident Management Task Groups (DIMTG) at ang Regional Reactionary Standby Support Forces (RSSF) maging ang Search and Rescue (SAR) units.

Nakaalerto na rin ang PNP Special Action Force, Maritime Group, Highway Patrol Group, Police Community Relations Group, Health Service, at lahat ng Regional and Provincial Mobile Forces para masigurong mabilis nilang maresponde para sa rescue operations.

“As an initial res­ponse in anticipation of the expected landfall of Typhoon Tisoy, resources and personnel from these operational support and maneuver units with disaster response capability are directed to preposition within closest and safest proximity to threatened and high-risk areas along coastlines, riverbanks and geohazard zones for rapid deployment in the event of contingency,” ayon kay Gamboa.

Iniutos na rin ni Gamboa sa PNP provincial, city at municipal offices and stations na makipag-ugna­yan sa local government unit at Department of Public Works and Highways para sa road clearing operations upang maiwasan ang pagbaha.

Aktibo na rin ang PNP Critical Incident Management Committee (CIMC) na pinangungunahan ni Lt. Gen. Camilo Pancratius Cascolan, PNP Depu­ty Chief for Operations, sa pamamagitan ng PNP Sub-Committee on Disaster Management (SCDM) sa pamumuno ni Major Gen. Benigno B Durana,  ang hepe ng Police Community Relations (DPCR).

Nanawagan din si Gamboa  sa mamamayan na manatiling mapagbantay upang makaiwas sa disgrasya. EUNICE C.
