HANGAD ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. na maisulong ang maayos na pamumuhay ng uniformed personnel at kanilang pamilya kaya naman dinagdagan ang 2024 budget ng Department of National Defense (DND).
“With an increased 2024 budget for the DND, we’re dedicated to ensuring the well-being of our uniformed personnel and their families,” ayon kay Pangulong Marcos.
Idiniin ng Pangulo na committed ang kanyang administrasyon na maitaas ang pamumuhay ng uniformed personnel na ebidensya ng pagsuporta sa Revised AFP Modernization Program and the Pension and Gratuity Fund, na titiyak sa financial stability ng military at civilian personnel.
“Beyond duty, we prioritize their daily lives. I have approved a specific budget for rice subsidies and Tertiary Health Care at the AFP Medical Center for advanced medical services and overall wellness support,” anang Pangulo.
Kahapon ay nagkortesiya ang mga high-ranking official ng Armed Forces of the Philippines at Philippine National Police kay Pangulong Marcos kasama sina Presidential Adviser on Military and Police Affairs Secretary Roman Felix ng Office of the President; Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Gen. Benjamin Acorda Jr.; at PNP Acting Deputy Chief for Administration P/Lt. Gen. Rhodel Sermonia.
Naroon din ang iba pang PNP officials na sina Acting Deputy Chief for Operations P/Lt. Gen. Michael John Dubria at Chief of Directorial Staff P/Lt. Gen. Emmanuel Peralta.
Habang ang military ay pinangunahan ni Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Chief of Staff Gen. Romeo Brawner Jr., Philippine Navy Flag Officer-in-Command Vice Admiral Toribio Adaci Jr., Philippine Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Roy Galido at Philippine Air Force Commanding General Lt. Gen. Stephen Parreño.
