OPISYAL nang binuksan ng Department of Health (DOH) – Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon) sa publiko ang San Pablo City District Hospital (SPCDH) Dialysis Center para sa mga COVID-19 patient sa Laguna.
Mismong si Regional Director Eduardo C. Janairo naman ang nanguna sa naturang inagurasyon.
“Napakaimportante na maparami natin ang mga dialysis centers sa ating rehiyon upang matugunan ang pangangailangan ng mga pasyenteng me COVID na may pangangailangan sa dugo upang mabigyan sila ng agarang lunas at mailigtas ang kanilang buhay,” ayon kay Janairo.
Aniya, ang regional office ng DOH ang nagpasilidad ng akreditasyon at License to Operate (LTO) ng center.
Tiniyak din ni Janairo na tutulong ang DOH-Calabarzon sa logistics augmentation ng center kabilang na ang mga personal protective equipment para sa mga personnel, lalo na ngayong mayroon na ring Delta variant ng COVID-19 na natukoy sa rehiyon.
Nabatid na kabilang ang San Pablo City sa mga lugar sa rehiyon na nakapagtala na rin ng Delta variant ng COVID-19.
“We will be assisting in logistics augmentation including personal protective equipment for personnel, especially now that the Delta Variant virus has been identified in the region and San Pablo City is among those with recorded cases,” pagtiyak pa ni Janairo.
“Ituloy lang po natin ang mga proyektong makapagbibigay ng maayos at mabuting serbisyo para sa ating mga mamamayan upang mapaghandaan natin ang anumang mga suliraning pangkalusugan na ating kakaharapin,” aniya pa.
Samantala, sinabi naman ni San Pablo City District Hospital OIC Chief, Dr. Edgar M. Palacol, na ang pagtatayo ng center ay naging posible sa pamamagitan ng isang public-private partnership program sa pagitan ng pagamutan at ng Renal Hub na nagkaloob ng mga makina at manpower.
“Para ito sa mga Covid-19 patients na PhilHealth lang ang inaasahan at ang center na ito ang kasagutan para hindi na sila mahirapan pang maghanap kung saan-saan upang makapagpagamot,” ani Palacol.
Sinabi ni Palacol na kabuuang P12 milyon ang inilaan para sa konstruksiyon at pagkukumpuni ng center, gayundin sa pagbili ng mga kagamitang kinakailangan nito.
Ang center ay mayroong kabuuang 10 dialysis stations na maaaring gamitin ng may 75 pasyente kada araw.
