DONASYONG 20K TESTING KITS, FACE MASKS TINANGGAP NINA ESPERON AT LORENZANA

CAMP AGUINALDO-PINANGUNAHAN nina National Security Adviser Hermogenes Esperon Jr. at Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana ang pagtanggap sa 20,000 test kits at mahigit  200,000 face masks mula kay  Mr. Kim Wong ng  Oriental Group noong Martes.

Kasama sa turn-over  si Office of Civil Defense Chief Ricardo B. Jalad, Department of Transportation Undersecretary Artemio Tuason, AFP Chief of Staff Felimon Santos Jr., Philippine Coast Guard Commandant Admiral Joel Garcia at iba pang  officials.

“I would like to express my sincerest gratitude to Mr Kim Wong of Oriental Group for donating 20,000 rapid test kits (RTK) that will be used to screen over 45,000 Overseas Filipino Workers expected to arrive in the coming days,”  pahayag ni  Secretary Esperon.

Bukod sa mga natanggap na  RTK, nagbigay rin si Wong ng 200,000 surgical face masks, 6,000 N95 masks, 3,000 PPEs, at 1,000 goggles.

Ayon sa Defense Department sa tulong ng mga bagong equipment and kits ay maasahang mapapabilis ang mandatory 14-day quarantine period para sa mga nagbabalik na Filipinos dahil madali na silang ma- identify, isolate, and treat an mga taong positive for COVID-19.

Inihayag pa ni  Kim Wong na susundan pa niya ng panibagong  25,000 rapid test kits para masakopp ang lahat ng papasok na mga seafarers at OFWs.

“His generosity is unprecedented, as this comes on top of his earlier donation of over 75,000 RTKs to the different local government units, the AFP, and the PNP,” ani Secretary Esperon.
